Last month I finished the first of three IKEA storage box makeovers that I’ll be doing. If you missed that post, you can see it HERE. The top box in pic below is the first one I did. Bottom box is the one I just finished today.

For the second box makeover, I used 2 coats of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Linen to cover the base. Then mixed a stain with MMSMP’s Curio (brown colour – great for using as a stain) using 3 parts water to 1 part Curio paint powder. Here below is what the original wood box looked like:

I loved the results.

I used two different graphics for each side of the box from The Graphics Fairy. They have thousands of free vintage graphics to choose from.

I love how this one turned out. I’ll be taking this along with the other IKEA box, to the Twilight Makers Market today at Cleveland.
