I received this lovely antique cupboard a few years ago and it was pretty banged up in places, so I gave it a quick paint with colours I had on hand at the time, before I even started using Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint products.cupboard before 1

Here is how it looked for a long time. I did have it located at The Providore Store in Brisbane for a while, but decided to bring it back home for myself to use. I wasn’t totally in love with the green colour, so …cupboard before 2

I love the new fresh look, which fits in with my home nicely. I might hang on to this one for a little while longer.Eulalies cupboard redo 2 Eulalies cupboard redo 3 Eulalies cupboard redo 4 Eulalies cupboard redo 5 Eulalies cupboard redo 6

I’m really proud to say that my 14 year old daughter styled these shots. I asked her to find some things around the house that might go well to make a vignette to style the cupboard. She slotted the picture frame carefully in the bricks. There wasn’t even a hanging hook for it, but the picture hanger clung to the little mortar edge!Eulalies cupboard redo 12I love the vintage blanket she found in my linen cupboard with the pastel colours, see the greenish blue tones on the left that match in with the Eulalie’s Sky colour, and some cute novels from her shelf.Eulalies cupboard redo 11 Eulalies cupboard redo 10 Eulalies cupboard redo 9 Eulalies cupboard redo 8 Eulalies cupboard redo 7The Christmas bunting I’ve been selling at my market stalls looks so cute in our Christmas room, and she found the little candy striped straws to tie the bunting in with the cupboard.Eulalies cupboard redo 13Hmmm, I think I’ve found myself a new stylist!

If you’ve been following me on Instagram or Facebook, you’ll have seen what I’ve been doing with these red sofa lounges I bought from Virginia Antiques in Brisbane:IMG_6411I bought one single seater and a larger three seater couch. I’ll be doing a full blog post on these, but just thought I’d give you a look at what I’m working on at the moment. These have been a huge project and got a little overwhelming on the upholstery side of things, so I called in an upholsterer friend to help, and she has been a life saver!IMG_6574These images I found on Pinterest have been my inspiration for colouring:

I look forward to showing how they are progressing!

Till next time … Happy Painting!
