Want to make your gift more personal this Valentine’s Day?

Valentine's DayIt’s that time of year again, and lovers all around the world are frantically racking their brains for gift ideas for their loved ones … or not. But for those who are, I thought I’d put together FIVE crafty DIY ideas for Valentine’s Day to get your inspiration and creativity juices flowing.

1. A Picture Hanger

2. Valentine’s Day Heart Chocolate Box Makeover

I love what designer and decorator, Matthew Mead does with these chocolate boxes! Watch the video for some great ideas using Fusion’s Matthew Mead Metallics and some furniture embellishments!

3. Canvas Art

Here’s a couple of beautiful canvas wall art pieces that Peggy from Garden House Studio has created using Fusion’s Tones for Tots Stencils. Aren’t they cute? Just paint the background of your canvas using any of your favourite paint colours.

4. Tin Heart Ornaments

What about these gorgeous tin heart ornaments by Susan from Home Road!

Susan created these by cutting tin tiles into heart shapes, painting, waxing, and distressing. Then adding a little glass chandelier bling!

5. Decoupaged Wooden Valentine Ornaments

Another fantastic idea from Susan at Home Road: transform a little block of wood into these cute ornaments with a little decoupage medium. You can see the full post for this project on Susan’s blog HERE.For my Aussie readers, this project would work well using Fusion’s Transfer Gel, which can be used as a decoupage medium as well as a transfer medium.
