Did you catch my last Hometalk Live Demo?

Today I’m going to show you a cute cabinet I painted in this month’s Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint colours of the month. But first, here’s the link to my last post if you missed my Hometalk Live demo, where I explained how I painted one of the planters above (the one in the middle actually). In the post, I’ll show you the whole entire Hometalk Live video and the “How to” on the other two planters in the pics. Which is your favourite?

I’m loving the stencilled antique crate look, myself …

Here’s the reverse side of the planter …planter centrepiece

So cute, and as you can tell, I’m loving using Donna’s stencils from Funky Junk Old Sign Stencils. If you’re in Australia, you can special order some of her stencils HERE.

A Milk Painted Cabinet

Here’s another project I’ve been working on in my workshop. I picked this cupboard up at our local charity shop. I could see potential for a lovely Farmhouse style cabinet.

And here it is all spruced up in our two Miss Mustard Seed’s Colours of the Month for May. Linen (a creamy off white on the outside) and Eulalie’s Sky (pretty sky blue on the inside). Hmm, so I DID clean the glass, but not till AFTER I took these photos, which is how I noticed how dirty they were.

Loving these stencils. You can find this one here (Australia wide shipping).
I linked this project at Silver Pennies Link Party:

Also, guess what arrived at my house this week?

I remember seeing Marian Parson’s “The Home Design Doodle Book” on Amazon and thinking what a great idea it was, so I ordered myself a copy or two, and then realised they were a pre-order and the book hadn’t even been released at that stage.

So I waited … patiently. And this week, I unboxed them over on my Facebook page, live!
To get your own copy, order HERE.
I am looking forward to doodling in mine and unleashing my inner designer! How about you?
