Description
Espresso Furniture Wax is perfect for creating an authentically aged finish on a piece of painted furniture.
Comes in 200g or 50g
This fine museum quality wax is based on an old family recipe. It is made from beeswax with a little carnauba wax and lightly tinted to a rich espresso colour.
Easy to apply, Espresso wax provides a durable finish with a beautiful luster and has almost no odor.
HOW TO USE:
Espresso Furniture Wax may be applied directly over Fusion Mineral Paint or any water based paints including chalk paints or milk paint.
You can also apply a coat of Furniture Wax (clear) before you apply Espresso Wax. This will make the Espresso Wax a little more “workable” and it will be easier to remove the Espresso Wax in areas where you want less antiquing, especially over porous finishes such as chalk paint and milk paint.
Use a clean cotton cloth or brush to apply wax in a thin layer, working into recesses of carved details or surface imperfections.
Wipe away excess. Allow it to dry for 3-5 minutes.
Buff to a shine with a clean lint-free cotton cloth.
Clean brush with soap and warm water.
NOTE: Difference between Espresso Wax and Ageing Wax in colour – Espresso is more of a mid-tone brown, whereas Ageing Wax is a darker brown.
