A mid to dark tone that sits firmly in the neutral spectrum. It’s the perfect foil for metallics, adding richness without the depth of black.

Artisan Natural Chalk Finish is an Australian made, eco friendly chalk style paint that utilizes advances in modern paint technology to make painting a breeze!   Artisan Natural Chalk Finish glides on easily, with minimal brush marks, has unsurpassed coverage due to the quality pigments used and dries to a velvety smooth matt finish.  The surface can easily be distressed with either dry or wet techniques to give that lovely timeworn look so popular with  interior designers. Ideal for painting furniture and décor items it is also amazing on feature walls.  Various looks can be achieved when used in conjunction with Artisan Waxes, Glazes and acrylic sealers. Different application methods will vary final effect.

To protect the finish and complete the distressed look,  seal the surface with either Artisan Wax, Artisan Liquid Wax, Artisan Flat Matt Sealer or Artisan Glaze. The use of coloured waxes and glazes will add a more aged patina to the final finish.

Artisan Natural Chalk Finish can also be used with Artisan metallics and Instant Age to give additional creative looks.
