Description
Fusion Furniture Wax – Black, is perfect for creating an authentically aged finish on a piece of painted furniture.
Comes in 200g or 50g (2 oz) container.
This fine museum quality wax is based on an old family recipe. It is made from beeswax with a little carnauba wax and lightly tinted to a rich black colour.
It is easy to apply, provides a durable finish with a beautiful luster and has almost no odor.
HOW TO USE Fusion Furniture Wax – Black:
Fusion Furniture Wax – Black may be applied directly over any of our water based furniture paints.
On porous paints like chalk paint and milk paint, you can apply a coat of clear wax before you apply Black Wax. This will make the Black Wax a little more “workable” and it will be easier to remove the Black Wax in areas where you want less antiquing. Alternatively, you can apply it without the clear wax underneath, and use clear wax as an “eraser” to remove or lighten any areas you feel are too dark.
Use a clean cotton cloth or brush to apply wax in a thin layer, working into recesses of carved details or surface imperfections.
Wipe away excess. Allow it to dry for 3-5 minutes.
Buff to a shine with a clean lint-free cotton cloth.
Clean brush with soap and warm water.
Take a look at this beautiful dresser painted in Fusion’s Champness and aged with Black Furniture Wax! Stunning.
