Description
Fusion furniture wax – Liming, is excellent for getting an old french pickled effect, or a white-washed effect on raw timber. Also great to change the look of your painted surface, allowing the white liming wax to sit in the grooves and crevices for a beautiful, unique finish.
Available in 50g and 200g size container.
This fine museum quality wax is based on an old family recipe. It is made from beeswax with a little carnauba wax and lightly tinted to a rich black colour.
It is easy to apply, provides a durable finish with a beautiful luster and has almost no odor.
HOW TO USE:
What is the best surface to wax?
It really depends on if you plan on washing this surface frequently or using it outside, we do not recommend waxes for exterior use or areas that come into a lot of water contact. Instead we would suggest using our Antique Glaze for an aged look, or our clear glaze which you can tint to any other colour you wish.
Fusion Liming Furniture Wax may be applied directly over Fusion Mineral Paint or any other water based paints and are great for sealing porous paints such as chalk paint or milk paint.
All waxes take about 30 days to cure.
Use a clean cotton cloth or brush to apply wax in a thin layer, working into recesses of carved details or surface imperfections.
Wipe away excess. Allow it to dry for 3-5 minutes.
Buff to a shine with a clean lint-free cotton cloth.
Clean brush with soap and warm water.
