Matte Poly Varnish Sealer – Artisan

Description

Artisan Matte Poly Varnish is a super tough non-yellowing water based polyurethane sealer for painted and timber surfaces. Poly Varnish is our toughest, most hardwearing sealer and is perfect for table tops, kitchens and bathrooms.

Matte Poly Varnish used over Artisan Natural Chalk Finish gives a tough protective coat, ideal for high traffic areas. Also perfect to seal special finishes such as faux marble and rust where a matte finish is required.

Suitable for interior and exterior application.

Available in matte in 200ml, and 500ml jars.

How to Use Artisan Matte Poly Varnish:

1. Surface must be clean, dry and free from oil and dust.
2. Stir to mix product thoroughly as mattifying agents may settle.  We recommend diluting product with water by 20% for the first coat on porous surfaces.
3. Apply with a damp Super Sponge (preferred for a brush free finish),  brush or short nap roller, following the grain.
4. Allow to dry and repeat as necessary.
5. For a super smooth finish, sand lightly using 600+ grit sandpaper between coats.
6. For dark colours we recommend 1 coat only and tinting with a small amount of the paint colour.
