I received this lovely antique cupboard a few years ago and it was pretty banged up in places, so I gave it a quick paint with colours I had on hand at the time, before I even started using Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint products.
Here is how it looked for a long time. I did have it located at The Providore Store in Brisbane for a while, but decided to bring it back home for myself to use. I wasn’t totally in love with the green colour, so …

I love the new fresh look, which fits in with my home nicely. I might hang on to this one for a little while longer.

I’m really proud to say that my 14 year old daughter styled these shots. I asked her to find some things around the house that might go well to make a vignette to style the cupboard. She slotted the picture frame carefully in the bricks. There wasn’t even a hanging hook for it, but the picture hanger clung to the little mortar edge!

I look forward to showing how they are progressing!
Till next time … Happy Painting!
