A Tale of Two Tall Boys – Number One
Remember I had these two tall boys in my workshop last year, and I finished off the first one in blue (MMSMP Bergere to be exact) which you can read about HERE.
They were both this orange pine colour and in need of some sprucing up which is what I Restore Stuff is all about!
A Tale of Two Tall Boys – Number Two
Here’s how the second tall boy turned out …
For this makeover, I stencilled one of our drawer stencils onto each of the drawers before painting, using Fusion Smooth Embossing Paste.
It is so easy to use, and you can mix it with Fusion colours to create a beautiful pearl raised texture on your painted surface.
This time, however, I used it straight onto our wood drawers with the stencil BEFORE painting them.
I recently filmed a video of this whole process, so will let you all know when the editing has been finished on that, so you can watch all the steps. Make sure you are subscribed to our email list where I send out my blog posts direct to your inbox so you don’t miss any. (Enter your email on the sidebar)
This drawer stencil is available HERE.
Here’s the finished piece:
